Permission (Genehmigungen) für das verwenden der HugWare Bilder ..

Hi Sonja ~

Thank you for contacting us.
I apologize for the delay in getting back to you.
You can use the images to decorate your website.

You can display HugWare images on your site, but they must be locked so that they can not be downloaded or copied in any way.
There are codes that you can use to lock the images to prevent this.
We also ask that when possible you put on the site that some images were provided by This can be small on the bottom of the site or on a links page.
When you make the e-stationary or etags to be given away for free download, you will need to include on them.
Our copyright policy does not allow for HugWare to be shared in any digital format.
We have made an exception for e-stationary and etags as long as is on the items that are shared.
And that they are in a .jpg, .gif or .tiff format.
Our copyright policy does not allow for our images to be sold or shared in the "tube" format.
We have had a lot of people that feel that if they 'tube' or 'animate' something it becomes their property and they can do whatever they want with it including making it available for download.
Of course this is not the case but it is very hard for people to understand that when they purchase a digital graphic they didn't buy the graphic but they bought the right to use it based on the copyright.
The best way I have been able to explain this to people is to tell them - "If you sign a contract to rent an apartment, you have the right to occupy it based on what you agreed to in the contract.
If you paint it (tube it) after you move in, it doesn't mean that you now have the right to sell it or do anything different from what you agreed to.

Here is a link to more information about our copyright policy
